Dermaplaning

blog

Dermaplaning, de-fuzzing, peach fuzz removal…..

Whatever you like to call it!

We are going to break it down for you here on the blog.

Dermaplaning is one of our most in demand treatments at Enchanted Skin & Beauty.

Dermaplaning involves the use of a small scalpel to exfoliate and partially remove the layer of the skin known as the stratum corneum. Along with the vellus hairs on the face and neck.

The dermaplaning treatment is not very invasive and therefore is safe for most people.

There is no down time with this treatment, due to it being non-invasive.

Dermaplaning is suitable for even the most sensitive of skins and during pregnancy.

Being a low irritating treatment, this is quite a safe option.

Dermaplaning can also be done prior to many other treatments. Particularly as it is an exfoliating treatment, as we know exfoliating is used to prepare the skin for many treatments.

These being, skin needling, Light based therapy and hydrodermabrasion treatments.

Thus allowing better product penetration during these treatments.

Dermaplaning also evens out the appearance and texture of the skin. Make up and moisterisers go on smoother and distribute with optimal balance.

Dermaplaning will not change the growth cycle of the hair or the thickness.

The hair is not taken from the follicle and therefore no change will be noted.
