What kind of wax do you use?
Our choice of wax is made by Brow Code. The reason we prefer this over any other wax is it is so gentle yet very effective. All of our clients comment how gentle the wax feels on the skin.

Do you wax men?
Absolutely

Do you do body waxing ?
No, facial waxing only. We do offer IPL hair reduction. See more about IPL

What is double dipping and why is it bad?
Double dipping is when a therapist uses the same wax stick more than once. So that means she dips into the wax, uses it to apply the wax on your skin and puts it back into the wax pot contaminating the wax pot. Wax pots are generally refilled throughout the day and more than one service can be typically done from one wax pot. The wax heater is not hot enough to kill the bacteria and viruses that wax can be contaminated with. No matter where you go, make sure a new wax stick is pulled every time wax is used.

All 3 tinting styles have a very important place in the artistry of brows. Before your first treatment and along the way to getting your brows to be exactly what you want, We will consult with you to ensure you are happy with the treatment.

What is Hybrid tint?
Hybrid tint is a dye that will stain the skin for up to 7 days and the hairs for up to 4 weeks. These colours are suitable for warmer toned clients.

What is henna tint?
Henna tint will stain the skin for 5-7 days and the hairs for approx 3 weeks. Henna tints are suitable for clients that do not have sensitive skin types.

What is traditional tint?
Traditional tint will stain the skin for a few days and the hairs for approx. 2 weeks. The colours can be mixed to suit cooler toned clients. We recommend this as your first service if you haven't had a brow styling treatment with us before.

Please ensure you book a patch test a minimum of 24 hours prior to your first lash lift or brow lamination treatment. This is necessary to ensure the products are suitable for your delicate eye area. First time bookings unfortunately won’t go ahead without the patch test booked prior.

Patch test fee $5 redeemed on treatment when completed.

Is brow lamination suitable for me?
It is suitable for clients who have brow hairs. This treatment does not add brow hair - it uses your existing hairs.
If you have sparse or thin brows this treatment may not be suitable for you.
It works best on clients with unruly, wirey, bunched together or brow hairs that don't stay in place.

Who shouldn't have brow lamination done?
Sensitive skin, skin conditions or trauma, previous reactions to lash lifting. If you are pregnant we advise waiting.
Short & straight brows may not have dramatic results.

How long does the treatment take?
The treatment should take 1 hour and will include a brow sculpt & tinting is optional.

What are the post care instructions?
* Keep brows dry and clean of brow makeup for 24hrs
* Avoid oil masks & facial peels, sun exposure, tanning beds swimming pools, saunas & spas for the 1st week.
* Use oil free products to prolong the length of your brows

What should I expect the results to be?
The results can vary depending on the look you are going for. It is important to discuss this well with your therapist before beginning.
Your brows will appear fuller, bigger & fluffy.

Lash Lift & Tint is a treatment designed to curl your lash upwards and tint the lashes picking up the lighter hairs and creating a more open and fuller look to your lashes.

Please attend you appointment free from any eye make up.

We also ask that you discontinue use of waterproof mascara 2 days prior to treatment.
